He joins a curious gang of stray dogs: Spicy, Alley, Trains and Mint. With them, after some adventures, he arrives at a prison camp. There he meets Lucas, Anna's former teacher. Meanwhile, Anna loses her parents, lives in an orphanage and loses her ability to talk due to a trauma. At the end of the war, Moss and Lucas look for Anna. When they finally find her, Anna recovers her speech and her happiness.
